“Due to the high volume of vehicles and equipment usage, fuel consumption is extremely high. In an effort to decrease the fuel consumption – TEKH Enterprise Inc. presented their technology “DS-600i” – that claims to decrease fuel consumption, as well as the harmful carbon output.
A period of two months was allotted to conduct a pilot on a 2017 CAT 700 Generator. The results of this pilot were extremely positive. A saving of 6.7% in fuel usage under normal operating condition. During 24-hour operating condition a savings of 8.63% in fuel usage was realized. Savings will also increase in time due to the maintenance decreasing.
Testing was also completed on multiple vehicles for the duration of two months, such as Cement Trucks and Pick-Up Trucks. All of which were positive and have seen a decrease in fuel usage.
No negative effects have occurred while using “DS-600i” to any equipment or vehicles.
